Melissa
Belle of the Ball Weddings and Events was born in 2015 after I spent years managing large scale event venues. As the weddings became more layered and detailed - I noticed there was a need for a more tailored service.
My passion for detail, eye for creativity and respectable network of connections has made Belle of the Ball a go-to source in the Eastern Shore wedding industry.
My planning process is inspired by your love story. Every wedding is unique and your day should reflect that.
We will bring your vision to life and
have fun while doing so!
When I am not planning weddings, you can find me exploring the shore with my family, traveling in the off-season or convincing my husband to take on another DIY house project.

Gabby
Gabby and Melissa first met in 2019 when Gabby hired Belle of the Ball to help plan her wedding in 2020. After partaking in the wedding planning process and enjoying the experience so much, Gabby joined the Belle of the Ball team!
Gabby is quick to assist any vendor in need, always looking out for the best interest of our couples and has a keen eye for detail. Her friendly personality and calm presence makes her the perfect addition to any wedding day team.
If Gabby is not planning weddings, you can find her at home with her adorable babygirl and her husband, walking her pocket pitty or doing yoga!
Jeri
Jeri and Melissa have been planning weddings together way before Belle of the Ball even was a thought. Together, the two managed a large scale restaurant and event space where they quickly hit it off.
Jeri's experience in hospitality, customer service and event planning gives her the tools needed to make sure every event is a success. Jeri is like our fairy godmother.
She jumps in when needed with a hands on approach and will go above and beyond to make sure every guest leaves happy.
Jeri loves traveling and exploring new places with her 3 children.
